TUMAR is a producer and design group. Our first product was launched in 1998 by three people. Today we are proud to empower 200 individuals of professional felt makers and designers. We serve thousands of customers around the world by making 100% natural wool products.
We draw ideas from traditional materials and craft traditions of nomadic ancestors. We are inspired by the art of transforming creative minds into high quality and functional items of everyday. Our mission is to engage with the world by modernizing felt and elevating standards of living for customers and ourselves.
Since the establishment our products have been exhibited in numerous EXPOs, including Lisbon, Portugal (1998), Hanover, Germany (2000) and Nagoya, Japan (2005), as well as Du Und Deine Welt in Hamburg, Germany (2006), L’Artigiano in fiera in Milan, Italy (2007), NY NOW in New York, United States (2015), Ambiente in Frankfurt (2015) and Hands On Design in Milan (2015). We have also been a regular participant of Import Shop Berlin since 2001.
80% of our products are made from wool felt, which is a renewable and environmentally friendly resource. Other 20% of items we make consist of natural materials such as cotton, silk, ceramics and wood. We strive to minimize pollution to the environment at any stages of production. Our goal is make natural products accessible to more people and this is our input to maintain ecological balance, thus decrease the negative effect of industry to the environment.
We produce products of interior design, art and decoration, personal and corporate accessories as well as kids’ line. The products of Tumar are designed to take a fresh look at the traditional materials and their meaning.
